If you’re interested in helping out as part of Segway Events crew, we are always on the look out for great people to join our event teams.

Event crews are based in - Sheffield, Manchester, Leicester, Windsor.

Crew roles include -

• Instructing
• Merchandise Sales
• Registration

Past experience of Segways is not an essential requirement, however the roles do carry a high level of responsibility and therefore the role is suited to outgoing, professional people.. Consequently a full and comprehensive training programme will be provided.

All crew are responsible for setting up and running our events.  Crew members are required to check equipment and ensure that the event runs smoothly in order to deliver a safe and positive experience for customers. Working in accordance with the code of safe practice, you will be responsible for upholding the companies excellent safety record, as well as creating a fun yet highly professional environment.

This is a lifestyle with nights out, weekends away and plenty of opportunities to ride Segways in return for your hard work. With the right people on board Segway Events is extremely good fun and can be very rewarding work. The current crew are all hard working and responsible people who have a "can-do" attitude yet know how to have fun and interact with customers. You will need to have a strong personality, be able to communicate with the general public and corporate clients.  You will also be able handle long hours, responsibility and at the same time be willing to create a fun environment in which everyone is motivated.

Unfortunatley this is NOT permanent full time work, nor is it 9 to 5, it consists mainly of ad hoc weekends and working indoors and outdoors.  The role is customer facing and involves manual work (packing and unpacking kit setting sites up etc) but its all part of the fun.  All of our crew are involved because they like the lifestyle and the people they work with which helps to create a good atmosphere. A driving licence and your own transport can be really helpful so make sure that this is mentioned when applying.
